This will sound crazy but does the pin have a post back or a brooch back. Just wondering. I've never seen this before. Amazing! I'm assuming it has a "stained glass" like effect? Mahalos for sharing.
Wow. So it looks like a cloisonne tie tack like pin. More than likely each color on the front was filled by hand (imagine an empty cavity filled with a translucent enamel). I thought perhaps it had a true "stained glass effect" (that effect would have been achieved by only having metal around the outside). It doesn't look like it has a manufacturer back stamp - bummah! Of course, the coolest part is taking a picture on the pin back on a Apple G4 computer. First the Sony Aibo, now the G4 - you rock with technology, sir. Mahalos for sharing.
