More than likely each color on the front was filled by hand (imagine an empty cavity filled with a translucent enamel). I thought perhaps it had a true "stained glass effect" (that effect would have been achieved by only having metal around the outside). It doesn't look like it has a manufacturer back stamp - bummah! Of course, the coolest part is taking a picture on the pin back on a Apple G4 computer. First the Sony Aibo, now the G4 - you rock with technology, sir. More cloisonnes than stained glass I think.Jerry Hornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11404542651593785733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9144384546630762930.post-59186912353563106552009-07-17T17:00:29.946-07:002009-07-17T17:00:29.946-07:00I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!I'll let you know as soon as it arrives!Jerry Hornehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11404542651593785733noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9144384546630762930.post-39697031179027223372009-07-14T04:10:02.952-07:002009-07-14T04:10:02.952-07:00This will sound crazy but does the pin have a post...This will sound crazy but does the pin have a post back or a brooch back. Just wondering. I've never seen this before. Amazing! I'm assuming it has a "stained glass" like effect?
